Here Darren talks about some key technical points behind a good slice and how using it can give you extra time to recover.
Starting from the middle of the court, move to hit backhands cross court. This drill comes with a recovery variation in order to increase the difficulty of the drill.
Alternate hitting slice backhands cross court and down the line. To increase the difficulty of the drill, place two cones or markers as targets.
Use these settings to help work on your defensive game and movement. Shuffle back and hit with lots of spin and arch.
Standing start, catch the ball and drop into a burpee, recover and repeat - anytime, anywhere!
